Shoot Out

August 8-15, 2020!

While restrictions due to the Corona Virus are starting to relax we want to continue to keep our members safe and healthy.  So we've come up with some "safe haven" shoot outs to keep you "snapping" while you're home.

This week we'll
be on the look out for

Random circles, circles in patterns, circles in nature, man made circles, big, little, or all different sizes.   There's no limit on what kind of circle, how many circles or how you process the picture.  The time you take your shot and the subject is up to you!

After the Shoot Out share your photos with the club!
Email 1-3 shots to Ann at
for the newsletter and monthly meeting slideshow.

Click on the Shoot Outs and Workshops link below for a detailed description.

Fish Association
Hypsie Gap Rd.
Stroudsburg (Long Pond), PA.

Since Monroe County has moved into the Green Zone
PPC members can meet together again by following healthy guidelines.
All of our out door shoot outs will be designed to provide plenty of room to enjoy each other's company but
maintain proper distances for everyone's comfort level.

Touted as the oldest fishing association in Monroe County, the Pohoqualine Fish Association land is now part of the Pocono Heritage Land Trust.  Matt Schultz will be our guide of this beautifully wooded area with McMichael's Creek running through it.

See our Shoot Out and Workshop page for more details
and directions.

The Transformation Exhibition
The Transformation Exhibition

The TRANSFORMATIONS 2020 Call for Photography is open for submissions!

The TRANSFORMATIONS Exhibition, one of the largest shows anywhere dedicated to the transformative vision and skills of photographers who freely express their creativity by whatever means they choose, is back for its 5th year! Things are a bit different this year (what isn’t) and this year’s show will be all digital and will be presented on-line, but the principle is the same…

If you have been rejected from other shows or your work questioned because you use textures, composites, filters, or any of the other wonderful tools available to create your own vision, then you have found your home!

To make things more exciting this year, we have revised the categories, made the awards higher, and are setting up a system so that you and your fellow entrants will select the award winners. No more moaning about the judges 🙂 and you’ll get a chance to see just how hard it is to select the best from so many great entries!

We’re looking forward to seeing the great work created in these strange times and putting on the best TRANSFORMATIONS Exhibition yet!
